Role of Physiotherapy in Managing Fibromyalgia: Current Trends and Emerging Therapies

Fibromyalgia is a chronic, multifactorial disorder characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain, fatigue, and various other symptoms, including sleep disturbances and cognitive dysfunction. Despite its high prevalence, especially among women, fibromyalgia remains a challenging condition to diagnose and manage effectively. While pharmacological treatments, such as analgesics, antidepressants.The evolution of physiotherapy practices in the context of fibromyalgia management has led to the development of more tailored and effective treatment approaches.
