Telehealth has emerged as a transformative force in the field of healthcare, particularly within mental health care, where it is revolutionizing the way services are delivered, accessed, and experienced. In recent years, the demand for mental health services has surged, driven by a combination of factors such as increased awareness of mental health issues, the growing prevalence of conditions such as anxiety, depression, and substance abuse, and societal shifts that are changing how people think about and seek mental health care. At the same time, challenges such as a shortage of mental health professionals, geographical disparities in access to care, and the stigma that continues to surround mental health treatment have posed significant barriers to providing adequate care to those who need it. In this context, telehealth defined as the use of telecommunications technology to provide health care services remotely has emerged as a powerful solution to these challenges.
