Gilgit –Baltistan is a location where there is only 1 percent arable land is available. The population is growing fast. People are shifting their main crops to cash crops. The general observation is that food is the main reason for breast and stomach cancer. There is a town called danyor.60 years ago this area was very famous for cancer. Now still people are suffering from the disease. The poster will show the overall situation and types of cancer in this area. I am teaching entrepreneurship and my work is in food security. Female have breast cancer, skin cancer and male have stomach cancer and brain tumor problems. We do not have cancer hospital; people need to travel 18 hours to reach city hospital of cancer. The area is covered with highest mountains and glaciers. World’s 2nd highest peak K-2, Masherbrum and Gasherbrum is in this region.
