About Molecular and Structural Bases of Life Organization

Petrenko Valeriy Mikhaylovich

There are many different publications about mechanics of vital functions of different organisms, about molecular and structural bases of life organization. Their data allow to confirm, that hard direct connection is absent between genotype and phenotype. Today available knowledge about genic organization of individuals are very limited, contradictory and not always objective. Therefore it should be to appraise a role of gens in development of organization very carefully. I think, that nucleic acids are passive material of development of being, let very important, but only instrument for proteins, organizing life of this individual. Just proteins form cells, their organelles and micro-environment, intercellular contacts. It is impossible organization of tissues and organs without the latter. And for this proteins make use different substances, including nucleic acids. I consider as important principle, that tissue integrate systems ensure formation of cells of basic types, then organism integrate system determines moulding of form, moreover changings of just organism integrate systems are fundamental driving force of morphological evolution. Results of my investigations make it possible, that individual spatial organization is realized in process of inter-organic interactions, uneven growth of organs, rats of which usually are falling in accordance with maturing of tissues. Influence of environment on development of organisms and organs (epigenetic factor) plays key role in realization of genetic information.

Method on Pattern Recognition of Various Limb Postures

Chi-Jui Wu, Shen-Jhe Haung and Chien-Chang Chen

The purpose of rehabilitation is to recover the degradation of human body strengths and flexibility caused from damaging by disease or injury. Improper posture practices in a long-term rehabilitation, however, might cause secondary injuries. To avoid these predicaments, the paper presents a machine learning algorithm for motional pattern recognition of various upper limb motions and wrist rotations. The proposed hardware scheme included single triple-axis accelerometer and a personal smart device. The accelerometer was setup on subject’s wrists to detect and then record the time-dependent sequential signals, and the acquired datasets were downlinked to the personal smart devices. The information of time sequence of limb motions was then analyzed using our proposed algorithm. The main data cluster numbers were estimated using data density functional method, and locations of data centroids were then measured using the Gaussian mixture model. Thus, swing angles of the limb motions can be further analyzed using the combinational machine learning algorithm. Under the proposed experimental framework, swing angles of the limb motion and wrist rotation can be clearly measured even though the motions of subjects were unstable. Then the feedback results fed to the time sequences can assist the posture corrections. Therefore, the technique can be used for analyses of accident circumstances and then dangerous alarms. In a nutshell, the proposed framework not only provides highly plausibility and objectivity but also reinforces the commercialization.

Emergence of Automated Computing Technologies in Biomedical Disease and Drug Discovery

Md. Golam Sarowar

Present era is estimated as the era of technological evolution. Every aspect of human life is greatly influenced through it. Just similar like all the sectors, emergence of information computing technologies in Biomedical drug, disease, big data is worthy of remark. However, access, manipulation and analysis of biomedical data become significantly mandatory for medical disease, drug discovery. In this regard, computer technologies are being developed emerging new specialty, methods, prospects, approach to handle big data. Rather than this big data perspective is seems to be appeared increasingly in biomedical sector which have already a great obstacle for the practitioners to work efficiently. In this respect lots of research have been conducted still going on. It’s a matter of blessings that recent computing technologies are doing well discovering new trends for disease detection as well as drug discovery. However, some barrier is still in action in this path. Realizing the worth of this computing technologies in biomedical science this work encompasses some exceptionally tremendous contribution in biomedical science, what they trended to do, their perspectives, challenges, way to avoid obstacles which can be a resource for the future further research in this field. Moreover, biomedical big data computing perspectives and contributions have been also concentrated in this work. Various machine learning approaches focused on various research and their drawbacks are also receptacle for the rest portion of this contribution.
