This article delves into the pharmacokinetics of antibiotics in avian species, discusses its implications for veterinary drug research and development and highlights the need for tailored approaches to maximize efficacy and minimize risks in avian medicine.

Domestic animals, including livestock and pets, are vital to human well-being. They contribute to food production, companionship and overall quality of life. However, these animals are frequently susceptible to a range of diseases, many of which have the potential to spread to humans (zoonoses).

One of the most immediate and significant consequences of climate change is habitat loss. Many species rely on specific environmental conditions-such as temperature, rainfall and vegetation types-to survive.
