She is currently in fifth year of a clinical-community psychology PhD program. Her research tackles the stigmatized illness chronic fatigue syndrome/myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME/CFS). Specifically, her work focuses on diagnosis of the condition, case definitional issues, the impact of medical, social and familial stigma on quality of life, and non-pharmacological treatment interventions. For my dissertation, I'm utilizing meta-analysis to investigate the post-exertional malaise phenomenon commonly experienced by individuals with ME/CFS. Clinically, she has received training at a university counselling center where she provided individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy and academic skills support to undergraduate and graduate students
