Background: Routine HIV viral load tests improve treatment quality and individual health outcomes for people living with HIV. Quality improvement (QI) consists of systematic and continuous actions that lead to measurable improvement in health care services. Thus, the aim of this study was to assess the effect of Quality Improvement (QI) on achieving routine HIV viral load implementation in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Methods: Facility based prospective follow up study design approach was used from January 2016 to December 2016.
