Ajit Kumar currently works on conservation biology and population genetics of threatened mammals and aquatic species in India. His skills and expertise includes Phylogeography, Ecology and Evolution, Genotyping, DNA Sequence Analysis. He has done project works om wildlife forensics , Biodiversity Conservation and Ganga Rejuvenation and Wildlife forensic and conservation genetic cell and he did several publications in different joiurnals.
