Biography
Educated in Nigeria, Akintola Shehu Latunji has 11 years (7 years post-doctoral) of teaching and research experience in coastal fisheries with focus on the prawns and shrimps of economic importance. In a professional career mainly in academic, Akintola has published more than 20 peer-reviewed scientific papers useful in understanding the bioecology and issues around challenges of the artisanal fishers dealing with catch preservation.
