Biography
He is currently researcher A at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation, professor and supervisor of the postgraduate course in Animal Sciences at the University of Brasília. He coordinates the National Network for Research in Animal Genomics at Embrapa since 2008, he is the leader of a CNPq research group on the subject. He has experience in the field of Genetics, with an emphasis on Animal Genetics, acting on the following topics: development and use of genomic tools in animal breeding, gene prospecting, genomic mapping and genome sequencing. His works have been cited more than 1,969 times in the scientific literature.
