Biography
Alsharif M was a medical student at MUSC and worked with most of the attendings and residents early on in my training. He was attracted to this group because of their friendliness and approachability. The faculty and residents share in an atmosphere of comradery and mutual challenge and encouragement. The leadership in the program was receptive to my ideas and goals of residency very early on, and provided me the freedom to do research at the clinical and basic sciences level.
