Amira Zaky, PhD, is an associate professor of Biochemistry at Faculty of Science, Alexandria University. She received her PhD through a sandwich exchange program between Alexandria University in Egypt and University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in USA. Dr. Zaky research line focuses mainly on investigating novel signaling pathway(s) that plays role in the initiation events and eventually leads to neurodegenerative disease progression.
