Biography
Amneris Esther Luque, M.D., is a Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She serves as Medical Director of the HIV Program for the Parkland Health and Hospital System and as Director of the Community Prevention and Intervention Unit in UT Southwestern’s School of Health Professions, which became part of the Division of Infectious Diseases in 2020. She specializes in HIV and other infectious diseases. Dr. Luque earned her medical degree at the Universidad de Carabobo in Valencia, Venezuela.
