Biography

Anatoly Yagola, born in 1945 in Moscow, Russia, graduated from Faculty of Physics, Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1968 and received PhD (1971) and Dr. Sc. (1982) degrees from the same University. Since 1971, he works at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Physics, Lomonosov Moscow State University. Since 1985, he is a Professor of this Department. He is a Vice-Chairman of the Council on Mathematics Education in Russia. He is a Member of 9 Editorial Boards and an author of 15 books and more than 300 scientific papers on inverse and ill-posed problems.
