Biography
Prof. Dr. A. Rosenwald has been head of the Institute of Pathology at the University of Wurzburg since 1 September 2009. He completed his medical studies in Hannover and Kiel. After starting his scientific career at the Pathological Institute in Wurzburg, he researched for four years from 1999-2003 at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, USA. His principal scientific interest is mainly applied to the research of malignant lymphomas, gene expression analysis, tumor gene sequence, DNA microarray technology and the development of molecular tests for pathological diagnostics.
