  Cogan’s syndrome (CS) is a very rare disorder of unknown origin characterised by inflammatory eye disease and vestibuloauditory symptoms. According to the International Chapel Hill Consensus Conference Nomenclature of Vasculitides, CS is defined as “variable vessel vasculitis”. We present the case of a 44-year old male, primarily diagnosed and treated for large/medium vessel vasculitis probably due to indeterminate colitis, who finally developed CS.
