Biography

I am interested in understanding the structural determinants conferring specificity in the assembly of macromolecular complexes, and their regulation as part of the cellular machinery mediating immunity and inflammation. I combine X-ray crystallography and electron cryo-microscopy (cryo-EM) to study molecular structure at high spatial resolution. Concurrently I have an interest in method development, in particular the improvement of atomic model refinement against high-resolution cryo-EM density maps.
