He received hismedical degree from (Tehran, Iran), in 2006 (STL, MO), in 2016. He completed residency training in internal medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School (Norfolk, Virginia) in 2013 and fellowship training in hematology and medical oncology at Washington University School of Medicine (St. Louis, MO) before joining the faculty at the University of Minnesota up graduation. He is interested in two major fields in science and medicine. In science, he's interested in the evolution of the fundamental properties of life such as programmed death and complexity. In medicine, he's interested in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and acute myeloid leukemia.
