Bernard Guillemin received his BE (with first class honours) and PhD degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Auckland, New Zealand, in 1981 and 1986, respectively. He is currently a senior lecturer and Deputy Head (Academic) in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Auckland.
His research interests focus primarily on forensic voice comparison. He has acted as an expert witness in forensic speech analysis for the High Court of New Zealand for over 20 years. He has served as a reviewer for a number of international journals.
