Bernd Lennartz

Biography

Professor Bernd Lennartz was awarded his PhD in 1992 at the University of Kiel in Germany. He is currently a Professor of Soil Physics at the University of Rostock. He has also worked as the Scientific Director of the Jimma Institute of Technology, Ethiopia, and Head of the Maritime Systems Department at the University of Rostock. He is particularly interested in the movement of water though soil, fields and the landscape, with a focus on nutrient mobility and management of agricultural soils.
