Biography
Bernhard W. Renz currently works at the Department of General, Visceral and Transplant Surgery, Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich. Bernhard is interested in the role of nerves in initiation and progression of PDAC and other gastrointestinal malignancies. Using system biology approaches as well as complementary in vitro and in vivo assays, his laboratory addresses questions related to both basic as well as translational biology. His most recent publication is 'Cholinergic Signaling via Muscarinic Receptors Directly and Indirectly Suppresses Pancreatic Tumorigenesis and Cancer Stemness.'
