Biography
Bogachan Sahin majored in molecular biology as an undergraduate at Princeton University. He completed his M.D. and Ph.D. training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, where he studied motor learning, synaptic plasticity, and post-synaptic signal transduction in the striatum as a graduate student. After completing his neurology residency and stroke fellowship at Johns Hopkins University, he joined the faculty of the Department of Neurology at the University of Rochester Medical Center in 2013. He is currently serving as Chief of Neurology and Stroke Center Director at Highland Hospital and Director of the Vascular Neurology.
