Biography

Graduated in Mathematics from the Dom Bosco Catholic University (UCDB, Campo Grande, MS) in 1986, with a Master in Systems and Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ/COPPE) in 1990 and a Ph.D. from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics in 2000.
He works in the areas of Distributed Artificial Intelligence, Multi-Agent Simulation, Cognitive Agent Modeling, Collective Behavior in Crowds and Semantic Web.
