Biography

A Chicago native, Bryan Carstens earned a BA in English and a BS in Zoology from Michigan State University. He earned an MS in Zoology from Michigan State University and a Ph D at the University of Idaho. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Evolution, Ecology and Organismal Biology at The Ohio State University. Bryan Carstens is an involved member of the Society of Systematic Biologists and currently serves as the Editor in Chief of the journal Systematic Biology.
