Biography
Chengyu Shi, Ph.D., FAAPM, medical physicist, studied engineering physics at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, where he received bachelor’s and master’s degrees. He then received a Ph.D. in nuclear engineering and science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Dr. Shi completed his medical physics residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences prior to working as a medical physicist in the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and then as a chief medical physicist at Saint Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT.
