Cilla is a medical student. Her father, Dr. Mitra Basu Chhillar, is a scientist in the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), and her mother, Dr. Neelam Chhillar, is the Head of the Department of Neuroscience at the Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences (IHBAS).
