Biography
Colin Pritchard currently works at the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, Bournemouth University. Crucially his research work crosses medicine and social sciences and includes Child Protection, Counselling, Psychology, Psychiatry and Suicide Epidemiology. International comparative studies with the NHS on child mortality, child abuse related deaths, cancer; including changing patterns of neurological disease. Prof Pritchard's research has straddled the complex interface of psychiatry, medicine and social work creating a unique interdisciplinary blend.
