Dr. Dhiyaa Kareem Muslem is an assistant professor and is currently working as a Head of Sciences Department in the Open Educational College, Iraq. He received his B.Sc. in chemistry and M.Sc. in Physical Chemistry from Basrah University (Iraq) in 1991 and 2000, respectively. He received his Ph.D. in photochemistry from Wales University (England) in 2013. He served as the Dean of The Open Educational College. He is working now with research groups since 15 years and he has studied and published many papers on Schiff bases dye sensitized solar cells, low temperature sintering of TiO2 films, biological solar cells and extraction of chlorophyll in different national and international journals. He was awarded two patents about low temperature sintering of dye sensitized solar cells (The UK) and he has received several awards from the Ministry of Higher Education, universities presidents and other Governmental and non-governmental departments. Moreover, Dr. Dhiyaa is a member of Member of Royal Chemical Society (The UK), American Chemical Society (The USA), Iraqi Chemistry Union, Solar Energy Association and Teachers Union (Iraq). Moreover, he is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like scientific journal of Thi-Qar University, Basrah University& expert Reviewers for journals like scientific journal of Muthana University.
