Donald M. Hilty, M.D. is a scholar and leader in psychiatric and medical education, clinical services, faculty development, administration, and telemedicine. He is Vice-Chair of Education, Chief of Psychiatric Services, Director of Medical Student Education and a Clinical Scholar at the Keck School of Medicine at USC and Los Angeles County. His research involves health services, consultation-liaison models of care, medical education, mood disorders and genomics in underserved medical populations. He is Co-Investigator of an AHQR RCT comparing synchronous and asynchronous telepsychiatry and a Member of the international Genomics Psychiatry Consortium, now centered at USC.
