Biography
Doris Kwesiga is an experienced researcher who is passionate about maternal, newborn, and reproductive health issues, with 10 years’ experience in academia, research, and community work in different districts in Uganda. She is a currently a Research Fellow in the INDEPTH Network Maternal and Newborn Working Group. She is also the Principal Investigator for a study assessing uptake, adherence and acceptability of Kangaroo Mother Care in Eastern Uganda. Previously, she has worked as acting manager and research consultant at Global Health Economics Ltd, Uganda.
