He has graduated in Statistics from the State University of Campinas, Master in Statistics from the Federal University of São Carlos and Ph.D. in Medical Sciences (Tocogynecology) from the State University of Campinas. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the University of São Paulo. Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Community Health from 2006 to 2010, and from 2012 to 2016. Member of the Research Ethics Committee of the Hospital das Clínicas, Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto, since 2012. Has experience in Statistics, with an emphasis on Biostatistics, acting on the following topics: statistical methods in meta-analysis.
