He is a Professor of Department of Engineering, Physics and Mathematics, Mid Sweden University, Sweden. He received his Ph.D. in mathematics from Humboldt-University zu Berlin in the year 1997. His research is in Complex Analysis, Envelopes of holomorphy, CR-geometry, Singularities of CR functions, Complex Spaces, Differential Topology. He teach Mathematics for the Bachelor, Master and PhD Programmes at BI Norwegian Business School. He is the Editor-in-Chief/Editorial Board Member of many peer reviewed journals and his area of expertise credits him with many publications in national and international journals
