Biography

Elon HCVD is associated as clinical assistant professor in Departments of Internal Medicine and Immunology, Section of Clinical Immunology, Erasmus MC, University Medical Center Rotterdam, Netherlands. He has performed extensive research in systemic sclerosis (scleroderma), using ultrasound to study arthritis and tendinopathy, vascular disease, calcinosis, and skin disease. He is also engaged in synovial biopsy research to further our understanding of the underlying immunologic pathways and drivers in rheumatologic disease.
