The Influence of the Wet Processing Stages on Yarn Processability

In this study, the influence of the wet processing stages, on cotton yarn process ability was investigated. The yarn samples were collected after every treatment and tested for kniteability efficiency. The total evaluation of the yarn properties was measured by using performance diagram. It was found that the highest processability index was occurred after mercerization conditions of 26°Be at temperature 19°C, vat dyeing and at temperature 19°C, reactive dyeing.
