Biography

Eric Derom is Professor in Internal Medicine at Ghent University since 1994. He is into Clinical work, education & teaching, research and administation. The University Hospital of Ghent is one of Belgium's largest hospitals. It has a tight relationship with Ghent Institution, with the rector of the university simultaneously serving as the hospital's president. The university and the hospital are both autonomous Flemish government agencies.
