  Meningiomas are tumors originating from the meninges of the brain and spine that are typically benign. Mass-effect and traction of nearby structures resulting in neurological sequelae often predicates surgical resection. Vital structures are unavoidably encountered en route to craniocervical junction meningiomas, posing a significant surgical challenge.
