Biography

I am a researcher and university professor with expertise in human metabolism and a focus on metabolic changes caused by diet or physical activity. Prevention and treatment of chronic diseases are a common part of my research portfolio (e.g. Cancer, Diabetes, and Obesity). My research projects and courses are related to human physiology on topics like endocrine physiology, regulation of metabolism, and nutritional or exercise-based interventions aiming to treat/prevent chronic diseases.
