He is affiliated to Assistant Professor Centre for Plant Sciences School of Basic and Applied Sciences Central University of Punjab Bathinda. He is very much interested with the process of evolution, and tracing it using comparative analysis; be it biological species, biochemical compounds, or even languages. His current research focuses can be broadly grouped into five sections: Marine Biology, Botany, Medicinal chemistry, Linguistics and Cancer Biology
