She is currently the Head of Deaprtment of Fisheries, her research interest includes Epithelial differentiation and pathogenesis, Fish disease diagnostics , also she worked as Principal Investigator Dysregulation of junctional complexes in the Danio rerio (zebrafish) skin, gill and gut epithelium in response to pathogenic insult and elicited immune response
