Biography

He obtained Ph. D in School of Medicine from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1996. He undertook post-doctoral training in University of Würzburg and then in Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He was recruited in Meharry Medical College in 2004. And then he worked in Virginia Commonwealth University from 2008 to 2010 until he was recuited as professor in Tongji University. He is currently working on the modulation of macrophage polarization by G protein-coupled receptors, aiming to identify drugs to modify neurodegenerative disorders.
