Biography

Dr. Hayes is a mechanical engineer by qualification, he is persuing a career in the medical industry as a biomedical engineer. He currently specialising in custom medical device design, including anatomical modelling and surgical planning. He is actively involved in medical research, particularly in the field of orthopaedics. He had recently completed my doctor of philosophy, titled "Mechanical Behaviour of Tendinopathic Tendon: An Engineering Perspective". He is currently investigating the effectiveness of navigation in orthopaedic surgery and the use of additive manufacturing to produce patient- and pathology-specific models for biomechanical testing.
