Biography
Heong-Beom Bae is a clinical professor in Chonnam National University Hospital, Chonnam National University, Korea. His group has a focus on using these tools to study immunological and infectious diseases. His work has led to one of the first FDA-approved clinical trials employing viral delivery of CRISPR/Cas9 gene-editing for in vivo gene therapy.
