  In this paper, an attempt has been made to study the biodegradability of flax and linen when the said materials undergoes soil buriel test. In this technique, the microorganisms are responsible for the biodegradation of fibres. The degradation of material being analyzed through naked eye to electron microscope, through IR-spectroscopy and thermal analysis.
