Biography

Ian Munro Rogers worked as a Consultant Surgeon at the Ingham Infirmary, South Shields and subsequently at South Tyneside Foundation Trust, from 1978 to 2004. He went to Allan Glen’s School, Glasgow and earned an M.B., Ch.B. from Glasgow University in 1967. Dr. Rogers received surgical training at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Westminster Hospital London. He is the author of many papers on the cause of pyloric stenosis of infancy and other general surgical topics. Dr. Rogers was President of the North East Surgical Society of England in 2000 and, for many years, he was also a Guest Examiner.
