Biography
Ibrahim A Alhagri was the recipient of the Outstanding Young Animal Scientist of the American Society of Animal Science (ASAS)-Southern Section, the 1993 ASAS Animal Growth and Development Research Award and was named an ASAS Fellow in 2011. Gary J. Hausman's interests are on the development of the technique of fetal hypophysectomy (hypoxia) and subsequent surgical implantation of slow-release hormone pellets permitting intensive studies of the endocrine control of fetal development. The first to demonstrate several genes and proteins secreted by porcine adipose tissue and adipose tissue in general including apolipoproteins and many interleukins."
