James K Bashkin

Biography

Professor Bashkin received his D.Phil. (doctorate) in Organometallic Chemistry from Oxford University (UK) in 1982, studying with MLH Green. After an NIH postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University with RH Holm, Prof. Bashkin has split time between industry and academia since he is a full professor of Chemistry & Biochemistry and a member of the Center for Nanoscience at the University of Missouri-St. Louis Professor Bashkin was Associate Editor for the Americas with the Royal Society of Chemistry journal Green Chemistry and served as co-chair of the Gordon Research Conference on Green Chemistry.
