Biography
John N. Daigle (M’68–SM’84–F’93–LF’11) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Louisiana Tech University, Ruston, LA, USA, and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, VA, USA, in 1968 and 1969, respectively, and the Eng.Sc.D degree in operations research from Columbia University, New York, NY, USA, in 1977.,He was a Visiting Researcher with the IBM Zurich Research Laboratory (summers 1999–2001) and with the University of Perugia (summer 2002). He is a Distinguished University Professor of electrical engineering and Assistant Director of the Broadband Wireless Access and Applications Center, with the University of Mississippi, Oxford, MS, USA.
