Biography
Dr. Juan A. Pineda earned his medical degree and his PhD at the University of Seville (Spain). He completed his training in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases in the Internal Medicine Department of the Virgen del Rocío University Hospital in Seville and in the Liver Transplantation Department of the Presbyterian Hospital, in Pittsburgh (PA, USA). Currently, he is a consultant on viral hepatitis and HIV infection in the Infectious Diseases Unit of the Valme University Hospital in Seville and associate professor of Medicine in the University of Seville.
