Biography
Dr. Karen Poon obtained her B.Sc. and M.Phil. from University of Hong Kong, her Ph.D. from University of Toronto, Canada. She is currently the Associate Professor in the Division of Science and Technology, Beijing Normal University – Hong Kong Baptist University United International College. She was granted with invention right by University of Toronto on a DNA biotechnology in 2000, and she has also successfully filed several patents on biotechnology in China. Her research interests are Bioelectricity, Microplastics, Wastewater Remediation.
