Biography
Kazim Sahin is a Professor of the Nutrition Department at Firat University, Veterinary Faculty and is a Principal Member of the Turkish Academy of Sciences. He is also Chair of Food, Nutrition and Health Working Group of the Turkish Academy of Sciences. Dr. Sahin’s research focuses mainly on vitamin, mineral, phytochemicals metabolisms, cancer prevention, alleviation of heat stress, and improving food quality in animals fed particular diets supplemented with antioxidant vitamins and minerals. He has been actively involved in international research projects and conferences along with renowned scientists in USA, Germany, Poland and Belgium.
